Hey friend, I’m Kayla!
Founder of Golden Era Tallow Essentials and a mama who wants better for her baby and family.
I started this company out of love for my daughter, but the journey to where we are today began long before.
Our Journey to Clean Living
It all began when my husband and I made the decision to clean up our home. We swapped out toxic cookware, cut processed foods, and became more intentional about what we brought into our home and onto our bodies. We knew it was the right thing for our future, but we didn’t realize just how crucial it would become once our daughter was born.
Like many new parents, we found ourselves searching for truly clean, baby-safe skincare. Everything I came across had ingredients I couldn’t pronounce or wouldn’t feel comfortable using on her delicate skin. That’s when I started researching — and that’s when I discovered tallow. Everything changed.

I sourced the cleanest, local grass-fed and grass-finished suet I could find and learned how to render it the traditional way. My first batch of whipped tallow balm was made in my kitchen, just for my baby girl — no fillers, no fragrances, just pure, nourishing ingredients.
Over time, I shared it with other mamas navigating sensitive skin, rashes, or eczema-like symptoms with their babies. To my surprise, they returned for more. What began as a simple balm for my daughter quickly became something bigger than I ever expected.

A Purpose Born in Motherhood
While all this was unfolding, I was in a deeply personal transition — one I think many mamas can relate to. I had gone from a fast-paced, driven career in real estate to now being fully present at home. I found myself having to slow down, trying to soak up every moment with my baby, and learning all about this new world. And while I knew I was right where I was supposed to be, I found myself asking God, “What does my purpose look like now in this new season?”
That question led me to some quiet, refining moments where I asked God to show me. And in His perfect timing, He did. Through the very thing I was making to care for my daughter, He opened a new door I didn’t see coming — a way for me to serve others, to still create, to still lead, and to still make an impact, while also being fully present in this new role as a mama.
He showed me I didn’t have to choose one or the other. I could do both. And that purpose could be born right from the middle of my own mess, uncertainty, and learning.

This is when I realized I could still be in my purpose as a mother and contribute in a meaningful way.
Golden Era Tallow Essentials
Golden Era Tallow was never just about skincare. It’s about returning to what’s real. Reclaiming our homes. Taking ownership of what we put on our bodies and our babies. It’s about walking in faith and building something meaningful — even if it starts small, on our knees in our kitchens.
I’m so glad you’re here. I hope this little jar of balm is a blessing to your home like it has been to ours. You’re not just supporting a small business; you’re joining a movement of families choosing better.
It’s about remembering the power of simplicity. Stripping away the synthetic. Reconnecting with what’s always worked. Returning to what matters: wholesome ingredients, strong families built in faith, and the kind of health that starts at home.
“Golden Era Tallow was never just about skincare. It’s about returning to what’s real.”
Welcome to the Golden Era
Let’s go back to slower days, where connection was face to face, where food was grown close to home, where skincare wasn’t complicated, and where we trusted in what God made. Let’s return to the Golden Era together, not just in skincare, but in how we care for each other, how we nourish our bodies, and how we live our lives.
Welcome to the Golden Era of living well.
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
